What's On Your Calendar? | August 2017
Katie, Baylee and Myself will be heading up to Baltimore for Friday evening - I just found out the Baltimore National Aquarium has Half-Price Friday Night admission for attendees after 5pm!! This summer has flown by! With as much fun as I've had with my family, there's still quite a few things I still want to do! Click here for tickets.
Braylee's accomplished quite a bit this summer: she's 100% comfortable with riding a bike, she's moved up to a new Swim class (she's putting her head under water without freaking out!!), and jumped off a diving board. We enrolled Bray at Goldfish Swim School in Reston for weekly 30-minute classes, I highly recommend them - check out their website here: Goldfish Swim School

August 21: Observe the Solar Eclipse at the National Air & Space Museum in DC; 1-4pm

Sadly Summer is coming to an end, the 2017-2018 school year is getting ready to begin, and just like every Summer - we never seem to accomplish all those activities we set our mind at the begging of the season. For those of you that have a random day off of work or are looking for a nearby outing to take your family, check out these local activities: the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria (free admission),Burke Lake Park in Fairfax, Splashdown Water Park in Manassas, the Potomac Riverboat Company in Alexandria, Chessie's Big Backyard at Lee Disctrict RECenter, Pirates Cove Water Park in Lorton, and the Children's Science Center Lab in Fairfax.
